Meat Curry Masala

This is it. I am sure after this morning that I have made a great curry. I taste tested it for tonight's guests. Sure there are many ways to make curry but this one tastes awesome. Unfortunately it takes a little longer to make than my other recipe but oh well. There are a few keys... one being that you blend blanched almonds, the onions, garlic and ginger together until they are like a paste. This makes a smooth, but thick curry. There is also tomato paste, butternut squash and chickettes for added yumminess. I didn't think I would like the squash idea but it's a winner. So tonight when Tara and Ruan come, I think that they will really like it.... I hope! It will probably be much better than what they are eating in Bolivia as missionaries. They have told me some of their food stories...not so good. Anyways, the recipe is free for the asking. By the way, have you noticed that the sun is out today. I am so blessed already. My arm is feeling better everyday and I am looking forward to spending some time with old friends. May your day be filled with the sunshine of God's love!

Dear Melanie,
It looks so good I could nearly taste it! Your home must have smelled like the spice markets from Dubai. It was great talking with you last night. Glad your shoulder is feeling better.
Love, Dad

Wow. Are you going to post your recipe by any chance? Or is it one of those in-person-only kinds of recipes?

Well what can one say. 1:30am, Can not sleep, must be the jet lag thing who knows, but I just remember someone commenting on making a comment. So here is the ramblings.

I must say that for all of you poor people out there who only got to see the picture it was good. I mean even if you were not hungry you wanted a second helping. It was with all the self discipline, and self restraint that I was able to muster the words No Thank You. For those of you who can guess who I am, and know how good food like this is, well you will understand the challenge. Some Peoples children I tell you. When I was done eating it seamed like merry Christmas, happy New Year in one, so says this happy camper.

Anyway I am going to make another feeble attempt at sleep, so good night all, and yes I will dream well of another good meal simply gone.
