Cherry Pickin!

Today Tara and I went cherry pickin! It was so much fun but it takes a long time. I learned a lesson in patience. I expected my bucket to fill up a lot faster, but each cherry has to be looked over to make sure it's good enough to pick. Plus, you have to sample them along the way :) So we had a blast and this afternoon we also picked raspberries. So when I got home I had a job to do. It was actually a huge blessing to be outside all day. Nature has a way of calming my heart and bringing God close to me. I thought several times about how creative God is and awesome to give us such wonderful food to enjoy. Oh and another cool thing....I love climbing trees and it had been a long time!
