ASI Convention 2007. This year was the 60th year anniversary of ASI. It was truly an inspiration to be here where so many people are happy to be doing God's work. My favorite of the sermons was by Randy Skeete. He shared about how much we need to exemplify Christ's character. This is will bring about His coming. " When the character of Christ shall be perfectly reproduced in His people, then He will come to claim them as His own." COL69
Julie and I had a wonderful time wandering around the booths and being blessed through the messages.
" The last rays of merciful light, the last message of mercy to be given to the world, is the revelation of His character of love. The children of God are to manifest His glory. In their own life and character they are to reveal what the grace of God has done for them." COL 416 Ladybugs really have nothing to do with me showing God's character but their quiet trust and busy lifestyle teach me that I need to quietly trust and busy myself for Jesus...showing the graces of His character.

Hey...love the picture of the ladybug. Looks like everyone has been having a fun summer. I think we all need to look at our own characters and ask ourselves how we are reflecting God. Sometimes we can lose focus...fortunately He is always there to set us on track again.
That second COL quote is really something, especially the first sentence. Just sitting here thinking on that sentence, it is definately something to shine into every nook and cranny and ask if every nook and cranny reflects His character rightly.
Melanie! It was AWESOME to run into you down there! (Although I hardly saw you on Sabbath! Where were you hiding :)...?) Anyway, weren't the messages amazing there! Can't wait to see you next weekend!

If I am the Miss Cake Cutter, I will be sure to make yours extra big! :) Anyway, it looks like I have to go to Berrien on wednesday or thursday to drop some things off to a friend who is going to take some stuff with them to Canada for me. I may be down there for a day or two and then go back on Sunday for the wedding. So we have to connect when I am there!
